Latino Pop Artist Luana Sandoval at L.A.'s famed Whisky a Go Go
Rising Latino pop artist, Luana Sandavol, will make her debut performance at Los Angeles' famed Whisky a Go Go (8901 Sunset Blvd.) on Thursday, September 11 at 6:30 P.M. (doors open at 6:00). She will open for the L.A.-based DEADicated Project (Grateful Dead Tribute) band. Also slated to appear are Tara Beier, Dillin Helsey, Amanda Rosen, and Marcellus Love. Tickets for the all-ages show start at $25 (plus fees) and are available via Eventbrite.
Best-known by her appearances on American Idol (2020-Season 19) and Dolly Parton's "Mountain Magic Christmas (2022), Sandoval's music is a unique fusion of influences she refers to as "pop opera," reflective of her diverse upbringing--from her classical studies in ballet and opera abroad to her love for songwriting and pop music developed stateside.
"To perform on the same historic stage as The Doors, The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Neil Diamond, and so many other icons is such a great thrill," states Sandoval. “My music has carried me across the globe, but I’m always excited to return to the West Coast—there’s a vibe there like no other.”
