The Occidental Symphony and Jazz Band Combine Forces!
The Occidental Symphony Orchestra is performing a concert on Sunday April 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm, with a special appearance by the Occidental Jazz Ensemble!
Conductor Chris Kim will be conducting these pieces:
• Schuller – Journey Into Jazz. Narrated by Oxy President Harry Elam and featuring the Oxy Jazz Ensemble
• Pineda – Baby Bird (World Premiere)
• Le – Now and Then (The Beatles' last song, arranged for full orchestra)
• Donello – Riviera (World Premiere)
