Help Save Animals During Wildfire Season!

Join the Central California Animal Disaster Team (CCADT) to help save animals in our Central Valley and across CA during disasters - especially during wildfire season. Since 2013, CCADT has responded to 40 wildfires, flooding incidents, and single/multi-home fires. CCADT also provided mutual aid to other counties when requested: Camp Fire - Butte County; the Lightning Complex Fire in Solano County; and last year's Caldor Fire in El Dorado County.

CCADT is pleased to announce its new intensive volunteer recruitment and training program. The weekend training will begin to teach you the basic skills needed to respond in all of the counties that are served. The training is FREE. The registration deadline is April 26, 2022. For more information, visit our website at CCADT.org.

CCADT provides animal disaster services to seven counties within the Valley: Kern, Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced, and Mariposa. Upon request, CCADT works closely with our community partners, Kern County Animal Services, Bakersfield SPCA, and Red Cross Central CA. to evacuate and shelter animals.

In 2021, CCADT was named "2021 Non-Profit of the Year" by Senator Andreas Borgeas for its extensive help during the Creek Fire in Fresno County.

Register today for the training to join the leading team that saves animals during disasters!
