Celebrate Día De Los Muertos at San Fernando Misison Cemetery, November 4, 2023,
The Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles invite you and your family to a special Día de los Muertos (All Souls Day) on November 4, 2023, at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills (11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345), where all are invited to build altars dedicated to their deceased loved ones. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Festivities are free, and doors open at 10:30 a.m. They will begin with a blessing of altars at noon followed by a cultural celebration for the entire family, including a wide choice of food and vendors, traditional altars in honor of the departed, art exhibit, folkloric dancers, live music, and activities for children. Holy Mass celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Albert Bahhuth for the San Fernando Pastoral Region will start at 6:00 p.m. Join the San Fernando community to pray for the faithful departed and honor their memory at this beautiful, festive, and free celebration.
