Springtime Inner Discovery With Kris Keys
Renowned artist Kris Keys is returning to the Los Angeles Arboretum for her annual Inner Discovery Rose Painting Experience. This intimate gathering promises an evening of creativity, reflection, and rejuvenation amidst the lush surroundings of the botanical rose garden. This art experience intricately weaves together Kris’ family’s rich history of food, culture, and agricultural patterns, embarking guests on a sensory journey through time and tradition.
Attendees will have the opportunity to witness a live painting performance by Kris amidst the serene backdrop of the botanical garden. Following the painting performance, attendees will be led in a series of painting exercises and patterns of roses and other herbs using the relaxing medium of watercolor. Complementing the artistic and meditative experiences, attendees will have the opportunity to savor the delicate flavors and aromas of Kris’ signature flower tea.
