SoCal Arts presents The Nutcracker
SoCal Arts Dance School is thrilled to bring the world of The Nutcracker to the Glendale Community College this Thanksgiving weekend. SoCal Arts introduces students to the art of ballet and dance to students in Southern California.
Now in the fourth year, the studio is excited to announce its annual engagement of The Nutcracker. “This is our largest cast yet, we can’t wait to start the holidays with the Glendale community” says Associate Director Jekyns Pelaez. The community is invited to enjoy this full-length holiday classic with a 1920’s twist on November 26.
Additionally, SoCal Arts partners with The Dance Resource Center of Los Angeles to receive donations to support the its Scholarship programs, for male students ages 6 to 10 and our under-represented community. SoCal Arts goal is to create a space to bring the joy of dance to the larger Southern California community.
The full length performance will be at 1PM and 5PM on Sunday November 26. Patrons can enjoy our students and guest artists dancing to the music of Tchaikovsky.
Opened in February 2020, SoCal Arts is a private Performing Arts training facility, specializing in a Year-Round dance education program for all ages. In 2022 and 2023 SoCal Arts was awarded Readers’ Choice Top Three dance studios in the San Gabriel Valley . The core faculty of experienced dancers and teachers come from across the globe. SoCal Arts aims to be the leading dance school in the area offering professional training, mentorship, and live performances for children of all ages.
