Celebrate Día De Los Muertos at Calvary Cemetery, October 28, 2023, 10:30 A.M. To 5:00 P.M.
The Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles invite you and your family to a special Día de los Muertos (All Souls Day) celebration on October 28, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery in East Los Angeles (4201 Whittier Blvd. 90023). Festivities are free and doors open at 10:30 a.m. Holy Mass celebrated by Msgr. John Moretta will start at noon followed by a procession and blessing of altars. The cultural celebration for the entire family will include a wide choice of food and vendors, traditional altars in honor of the departed, art exhibits, folkloric dancers, live music, and activities for children. All are encouraged to contribute to a community altar with a picture of a deceased loved one. Join the East L.A. community to pray for the faithful departed and honor their memory at this beautiful, festive, and free celebration.
