Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream Raises Money for Veterans
Join Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream Long Beach and Downey as it continues its annual fundraising campaign for veterans in California through AMVETS ONE.
Dedicated to raising awareness about Suicide Prevention for veterans and retired military, the nonprofit organization is partnering with Handel’s Long Beach for a meaningful event on Wednesday, November 8 at Handel’s Long Beach, 4201 McGowen St Suite 200 at 12:30 pm. Guests are welcome to join to learn more about the organization and how they can contribute by giving back to veterans.
Handel's Long Beach is one of the first stops of AMVETS ONE’s Golden State Tour, which travels across Southern and Northern California to connect their efforts and mission supporting Veterans with the local communities.
Both Handel’s Long Beach and Handel’s Downey will be raising money for AMVETS ONE throughout the month of November. Guests are encouraged to donate by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar at the register at these two locations. Store Owner Greg Flaherty will be matching the first $1,000 raised at each location.
