FREE. Breeders’ Cup 2023 Live Breeders' Cup Classic Horse Racing 2023 Online Free

As the year comes to a close, we welcome the final major event of the year in the Breeders’ Cup. With the Triple Crown events having been and gone, the whole world will be paying close attention to Santa Anita Park for a world-class weekend of racing. With a prize pot exceeding $30 million, everything is up for grabs, not just for the owners, trainers, and jockeys but also for those in the stands, with a win in the Classic the big pot everyone’s after. It’s a must-watch for every horse racing fan, so if you’re lining up an afternoon in front of the television, here’s all you need to know about Breeders’ Cup race day… When is the Breeders’ Cup? The Breeders’ Cup runs on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4, with the big races of the weekend taking place on the second day. There are 14 races across the two days, with the Juveniles taking place on the first day and the big purse races following. It starts at 5pm ET on Friday and runs until around 8pm. The next day, which is longer, starts at 1.30pm ET, and the final race finishes at around 8.15pm. The Breeders’ Cup Classic, the big meet of the day, takes place at around 6.40pm ET. The full schedule for the weekend is as follows: Friday November 3, 2023: 5.00pm: Juvenile Turf Sprint 5.40pm: Juvenile Fillies 6.20pm: Juvenile Fillies Turf 7.00pm: Juvenile 7.40pm: Juvenile Turf Saturday November 4, 2023: 2.30pm: Dirty Mile 3.10pm: Filly & Mare Turf 3.50pm: Filly & Mare Sprint 4.30pm: Mile 5.10pm: Distaff 5.50pm: Turf 6.40pm: Breeders’ Cup Classic 7.25pm: Turf Sprint 8.00pm: Sprint Which channels have the rights to Breeders’ Cup horse racing? NBCUniversal currently has the broadcast rights to the Breeders’ Cup, with it being broadcast live across NBC and the USA Network. The latter has most of the coverage, with the Juvenile races on the Friday shown on the USA Network. The coverage begins on the same network on Saturday, too, with NBC taking the reins at 3.30pm ET for the big races, including the Breeders’ Cup Classic. Following that race, coverage shifts to Peacock, NBC’s online streaming service. You can watch all the action across the two days on Peacock too. Best TV Packages to watch the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Of course, there are many ways in which you can access the USA Network and NBC. There are some excellent packages on the market, with the three best for the 2023 Breeders’ Cup currently looking like… SlingTV is a slightly cheap streaming service option in comparison to rivals like fuboTV, providing you with around 45 channels for $40 per month. You’ll need the Sling Blue package for NBC and USA Network, which will also give you the likes of Fox Sports 1, TNT and the NFL Network. Like FuboTV, there’s no Peacock subscription, so you would miss a few races of the Breeders’ Cup. You can add Sling Orange for a further $15 per month to your package, which will give you ESPN channels and TNT, which will stretch your sporting options even further, with a host of NFL, MLB, NBA and soccer options available. Given that every race in the Breeders’ Cup is available to stream on Peacock, it’s perhaps the best option for you to watch it. A subscription is just $5.99 per month on the Premium Plan, with no contract required, meaning you can effectively sign-up and then cancel after one month and after the race weekend has finished. You can make a bit of a saving on that if you pay for a yearly subscription, priced at $59.99 per month. Alternatively there is also a Premium Plus plan for $11.99 per month, which comes without adverts on on-demand content, as well as also giving you your local NBC channel, which isn’t really needed purely to watch the Breeders’ Cup. There are also other sports you can watch through the subscription, including soccer, golf, baseball and more. FuboTV offers one of the more comprehensive sports TV packages in the USA, with hundreds of channels available with its basic package, including NBC and the USA Network. However, it’s important to note that it does not include a Peacock subscription, meaning you’d miss the last two races of the Saturday at the Breeders’ Cup. The Pro package is the most basic option, priced at $74.99 but if you are a lover of sport, you’ll get access to the likes of Fox Sports, CBS Sports Network, beIN Sports, ESPN and a stack more. It’s a big investment for someone who purely wants to watch the horse racing, but for those who want a much wider offering, it’s well worth the investment. There are also larger packages available, with the Elite and Premier packages, which have many more channels priced at $84.99 and $94.99 per month respectively.
