Mural of Misty Copeland by famed street artist El Mac in the City of San Pedro

San Pedro City Ballet 1231 South Pacific Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90731 San Pedro City Ballet and Arts United San Pedro invite Angelenos to the unveiling of a brand-new mural featuring the image of American Ballet Superstar Misty Copeland and an official building renaming at 13th and Pacific Avenue in San Pedro. A ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce will begin at 4 p.m. to commemorate the official renaming of the San Pedro City Ballet building in honor of Legacy Donor Dr. Joseph A. Adan. Speeches will be made by local dignitaries, mural artist EL MAC (https://eimac.net/) will be in attendance, and the ceremony will conclude with champagne sabering. The mural was made possible by Arts United San Pedro (https://www.artsunitedsp.org/). Mural Ribbon Cutting is Free and open to the public. Mural Unveiling Celebration fundraiser is $80 per person This free public mural ribbon cutting event will be immediately followed by the unveiling celebration fundraiser to fund San Pedro City Ballet scholarships to underserved populations. With a ticket to the Mural Unveiling Celebration, attendees will enter the San Pedro City Ballet studio and be treated to a special ballet performance of "Grit and Grace" choreographed in honor of mural artist EL MAC by San Pedro City Ballet Artistic Director Cindy Bradley.
