Journey Art Productions presents “Adventureland,” the debut solo exhibition of Los Angeles-based visual artist Dylan Harney, taking place Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Exhibit A Gallery. Located on Fairfax Avenue in the city's Little Ethiopia neighborhood (1056 S Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90019), the gallery will devote its entire exhibition space to Harney's work.

The two-day exhibition brings together more than 90 works of art, from intricately detailed illustrations to large-scale mixed-media compositions, alongside an immersive projection installation in a dedicated room, designed to give visitors the sensation of stepping into the artist's imagination. Harney will be in attendance both days. Exhibition hours are Saturday, 4:00 – 9:00pm, and Sunday, 1:00 – 6:00pm. Admission is free. Over the course of the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Harney. Original artworks and a selection of artist-signed prints will also be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served, with a special coffee cart and on-site barista on Sunday. Plans also include a playful parting gift: purple balloons, reflecting Harney's favorite color, featuring drawings by the artist.

Drawing upon a lifetime of artistic exploration, “Adventureland” introduces a substantial body of work shaped by Harney's personal experiences and the people, places, and characters that populate his imagination. His colorful compositions incorporate recurring imagery inspired by Los Angeles, baseball, animation, puppetry, and nature. The exhibition includes individually framed works as well as larger, collage-like canvases. His interpretations of familiar characters and fictional worlds reflect his longstanding fascination with popular culture.
