Chicken Appreciation Day was this month on May 4th! In celebration of these wonderful critters, we are going to learn how to make a chicken pincushion. For those who want to, we will embroider eyes with embroidery floss and French knots, otherwise we can draw the eyes in with a marker. We will be using crushed walnut shells to fill our pincushions, and we will learn how to gather fabric for the chicken's comb. This program is for adults with basic sewing machine skills.
