Learn about Emily Dickinson’s unique methods and bind pages of your own.
Emily Dickinson wasn't famous during her lifetime. She wrote hundreds of poems and bound them with kitchen string into "fascicles", or small booklets. It was these booklets that her sister, Lavinia, found after her death, and many of the poems therein became pivotal pieces of American literature.
Join Susannah in the Studio to discuss this iconic poet's fascinating history and learn how to bind your own creative materials into fascicles. Dickinson's method is extremely simple and easy to do yourself. Whether you'd like to bind loose copies of your own poems or create a blank journal to start with, join this free class and learn something new!
All materials and instructions are provided for this free class. Adults and teens, poetry lovers or not, are welcome.
