Tiny Chef: Kansas Sugar Cookies
Kids can cook, and Argenta Library is a great place for them to learn! Join us for hands on cooking practice and yummy home-made treats.
No registration required, but supplies may be limited on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is best suited for pre-school, elementary school, and middle school aged children, and may require guardian assistance for younger audiences.
The benefits of kids cooking.
Nutritional Awareness: Cooking helps children understand the importance of a balanced diet and makes them more likely to try new foods, including fruits and vegetables.
Life Skills: Learning to cook is a valuable life skill that promotes independence and self-sufficiency. Children gain confidence in their ability to prepare meals and handle kitchen tasks
