🪶 Birding Basics: Learn to Spot & Identify Local Birds! 🦉
🐦 Birding is a hobby you can take anywhere in the world—and it all starts with learning the basics! 🌎 In this program, we’ll get to know some of the common birds you’re likely to see this time of year and how to identify them by sight and sound. 👀👂
📓 You’ll learn what a “life list” is and how to start one of your own, plus explore useful tools that make birdwatching even more enjoyable. 🧭📱
🌅 We’ll wrap up with a short, guided walk along the Arkansas River to put your new skills into practice. 🚶♀️🦆
🔭 We’ll have some binoculars available to borrow, but feel free to bring your own if you have them!
