Nevelson-Inspired Sculpture Workshop
Students will visit the AMFA galleries to explore artworks, gathering ideas for incorporating shapes and form into a sculptural design.
Using a special black clay for this project, ceramic artist India Childress will lead you through manipulating the clay with slabs to achieve an exciting and complete artwork. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to draw inspiration from a rich collection while learning about and developing your ceramic techniques.
