Come From Away is based on the true story of Gander, Newfoundland, a small town that welcomed thousands of stranded travelers after 38 planes were diverted there on September 11, 2001. Amid culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander opened their homes and hearts, proving that kindness can bring us together.
