Joggin' For Jaelyn 5K Fun Run
The 2024 Joggin for Jaelyn 5K Memorial Fun Run kicks off at Wilson Park in Maynardville on June 29, 2024 at 7:30am. In addition to the running/walking trail, we will have vendors, and food trucks. Wilson Park is adjacent to Union County High School where Jaelyn had just graduated from only a few weeks before her life was taken by a wrong way drunk driver on June 27, 2021 on Maynardville Highway in Knox County, TN. This event is our way to remember Jaelyn and give back to MADD, an organization that helped Jaelyn's family from the start to navigate this horrible tragedy. Jaelyn's best friend Ashton Bailey was also critically injured in this crash and continues to recover. We honor Ashton at this event as well.
