Sevierville, TN — June 3rd — Local history enthusiasts and lovers of forgotten places are invited to meet authors Amanda Maltz and Michael Cutali at a special book signing event celebrating their captivating new release, Abandoned East Tennessee: Historic Archaeology. The event will be held at King Family Library in Sevierville, Tennessee, on June 3rd 11am-1pm.
Through haunting photography and compelling historical insight, Maltz and Cutali take readers on a journey into East Tennessee’s abandoned structures, exploring the region's hidden past through the lens of archaeology and preservation. The book brings to life forgotten homes, industrial relics, and community spaces, offering a rare glimpse into a world slowly being reclaimed by nature.

“We’re excited to share the stories of East Tennessee’s lost spaces and the rich heritage they represent,” said co-author Amanda Maltz. “Each site we explored tells a deeper story about the people that once lived there.”
This free event is open to the public and is hosted in partnership with the Sevier County Public Library System.
