World Renowned PHILADANCO Brings Exuberant Dance to The Dell What: The Philadelphia Dance Company (PHILADANCO!) along with D/2 the SECOND COMPANY, D/3 the YOUTH GROUP along with special guest artists Waheed Works Fuego Dance Theater, Roger Lee Dance and more.
Under the leadership of Joan Myers Brown, the performance will include three works by PHILADANCO'S company dancers. The guest artists are Waheed Works, a dance project conceived and directed by Tommie-Waheed Evans and Dance Iquail from New York. The emerging artists are Fuego Dance Company, featuring Latin American dance, Imagine Dance Theater of Camden, and Roger Lee Dance of Philadelphia.
Joan Myers Brown is the founder of The Philadelphia Dance Company (PHILADANCO), which is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, and The Philadelphia School of Dance Arts.
