Fourth of July LickiMat Prep - Make It and Take It
Join us for a humans-only LickiMat decorating event!
Better than a charcuterie board, a LickiMat is a reusable, vet-designed enrichment toy that helps slow down fast eaters, improves oral health, and can reduce anxiety and boredom! Licking is a soothing activity for dogs, and also an ideal way to provide your pup with soft rewards while working on grooming or healthcare skills.
We'll have a wide variety of Fourth of July themed dog-safe and dog-approved meats, cheeses, fruits, spreads, and vegetables available for you to craft a personalized treat for your best pup!
We'll have baggies available so you can easily transport your finished product home, to give to your pup then, or save it in the fridge or freezer to give to your dog on the Fourth (under supervision).
Learn about the different types of LickiMat products available, the variety of foods you can use in them, and how to teach your dog to enjoy the LickiMat (instead of chewing it) - handouts included!
Bring one you already have, or purchase your LickiMat product in our Boutique, with our guidance if requested. The cost to decorate your LickiMat is only $5; $4 each for two or more (paid in our Boutique). Then head to our buffet of dog-safe food items to decorate your LickiMat. Once your masterpiece is complete and you've taken many photos, we have bags available to transport it home without mishap.
