SkinPen microneedling with PRP (platelet rich plasma) is a cosmetic procedure to treat age spots, fine lines & wrinkles, scarring, large pores, certain forms of hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and overall complexion. PRP stimulates elastin and collagen production. PRP also works to naturally stimulate your body's healing system to help calm the skin and allow the body to be able to heal more efficiently from the microinjuries being created during the microneedling procedure. This procedure has little to no downtime and is safe on all skin types. 1 treatment includes either the entire face or the neck/décolleté.

SkinPen microneedling without PRP (platelet rich plasma) is still beneficial to treat all of the conditions listed above and to help stimulate collagen production.

Withhold from using any retinol or vitamin A products for 48 hours prior to your appointment. 2 weeks required of healing post Botox injection date & 4 weeks required post chemical peel, filler, or any laser/IPL treatments to the desired microneedling treatment area.

-Recommended treatment protocol: 1 treatment per month for a total of 3 months, then once a year maintenance after 3 initial treatments. (Some skin types may need more than 3 treatments in order to get desired results).

  • An esthetician uses a tool with thin needles to create tiny holes in the surface layers of skin, which not only helps absorb skincare products for fresh-looking, smoother skin but also boosts healing as well as stimulates collagen and elastin production.
