Oscar Senn, Recent Works, Southlight Gallery

I've been painting since I was a child, and I haven·t stopped yet. I work in oils because they're forgiving, versatile, and permanent. They can glow or glower, whisper or scream. As a kid, I thought there was light trapped in those tubes, just waiting for my brush. And sometimes I think they still do. After attending the now-famous Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, I pursued a career in the arts, becoming a well-known illustrator, art director, toy designer, and writer of children's fiction, among other creative endeavors. My work has been featured in Communication Arts magazine·s illustration Annual, in addition to receiving honors from the New York Art Directors Show. OSCAR SENN
