Better Together Resume Workshop
Better Together is hosting a resume workshop in Jacksonville for area job seekers.
The resume workshop will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24 from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature guest speaker Marcie Niedbalski of Avalon Employment Services. Niedbalski was heavily involved with developing the LifeBuilders program at City Rescue Mission, writing the curriculum for the Resume Writing and Interview Skills module, and serving as a mentor to members of the program. She has developed and participated in many other community events geared toward gaining and maximizing employment in the greater Jacksonville area.
The workshop is open to job seekers and job coaches to learn how to craft the ideal resume. The event will take place at San Marco Church, located at 1620 Naldo Ave. in Jacksonville. The workshop is free, and lunch and child care will be provided. Those interested can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/Lunch-RSVP/ or call 239-470-2733.
