Better Together March 13 Community Job Fair
Better Together, in partnership with Normandy Park Baptist Church, will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 in Jacksonville.
Registration is now open for hiring employers and job seekers to participate in the March event. The church-based job fair connects job seekers with local employers who are ready to hire, while also providing resources to facilitate stronger connections and more hires. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes and interviewing skills, and additional services will be available onsite.
The job fair is part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped nearly 40,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees get a job interview, and 1 in 4 receive a job offer on the spot. Some 70% find work within six weeks.
The March 13 job fair will take place at Normandy Park Baptist Church, located at 7050 Normandy Blvd. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/Normandy or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949.
