Oct. 23 Better Together Community Job Fair
Better Together, in partnership with Gateway to Heaven Christian Church, will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23 in Jacksonville.
Registration is now open for hiring employers and job seekers to participate in the October event. The church-based job fairs not only connect job seekers with local employers who are ready to hire but also provide resources to facilitate stronger connections and more hires. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to job seekers to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite.
The community job fair is part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped more than 45,600 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. So far this year, more than 2,600 interviews or initial jobs have been offered.
The Oct. 23 job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in partnership with Gateway to Heaven Christian Church, located at 7700 North Pearl St. Job seekers and employers can register at BetterTogetherUS.org/GatewayToHeaven or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949.
