Behind ‘The Mask’: Mental health in children - Breakfast Learning Series with FSS
This learning series has been developed for caregivers working with youth who are “masking” their emotional state due to discrimination or judgment caused by stigma associated with mental ill-health. Through this event, caregivers will learn effective strategies/interventions to help students remove their “mask” by assessing students' emotions, thoughts and behaviors.
Guest speaker is Katrina Taylor -- Director, School Behavioral Health Duval County Public Schools.
