Florida’s Jacksonville-San Jose Hooters Hosts “Pink Pageant” in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness

The Jacksonville-San Jose Hooters restaurant will host a “Pink Pageant” on Wednesday, October 25, at 7 p.m. to raise funds for breast cancer research. Emceed by Miss Hooters International 2023 Emily Johnson, this ticketed event will bring the local community together to support the fight against breast cancer. The centerpiece of the Hooters “Pink Pageant” will be a pink bikini contest in which Hooters Girls from across North Florida will participate. The pageant will be hosted and judged by women, including Emily Johnson, who have been personally impacted by this disease. As a part of the Hooters “Give A Hoot” campaign throughout October, the pageant will raise money for the Hooters Community Endowment Fund which benefits the V Foundation, a cancer research funding organization. During October, Hooters is also donating a portion of the proceeds from personalized endowment cards, 2024 Hooters Calendars and limited-time “pink drinks” to this organization. Since the program’s launch in 2002, Hooters has raised a cumulative $8.7 million for breast cancer research. Additionally, every Wednesday in October, all Jacksonville-San Jose Hooters Girls will honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing the signature pink uniform. Tickets start as low as $10 and will be available in-store at all nearby Hooters locations, including Brunswick, Daytona, Orange Park, Savannah, Southside and Tallahassee. VIP tickets also include a meet and greet with the contestants before the show at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
