Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard Grand Opening and Giveaways
Living in Florida just got sweeter as Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard - the beloved brand known for its delicious Italian ice and frozen custard treats – today announced it is hosting the grand opening for its first location in St John’s at 255 Rivertown Shops Drive on Friday, February 24.
Starting at 4:30 p.m., the new location will reward the first 50 guests in line with Free Rita’s Italian Ice for a Year!* Guests are also invited to enjoy swag giveaways, a prize wheel, and photo opportunities with Rita’s mascot Ice Guy from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
To officially commemorate St John’s first Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard location, local franchisee Nichole Greene will host the shop’s official ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Throughout the day, 10% of all proceeds will be donated to Hope for Lillian Grace, a 501(c)(3) set up to benefit Lillian & Quinn Ball and their family as they continue their lifelong journey with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD).
The celebration continues all weekend long with the store offering guests a $2 small Italian ice and $3 small Gelati starting on Friday, February 24, through Sunday, February 26.
Rita’s Italian Ice is made fresh daily on-site and available in a rotating daily selection from over 75 flavors. Rita’s menu also includes creamy Frozen Custard and signature frozen treats such as Gelati, Concretes, Milkshakes and more.
Rita’s is actively looking for additional franchisees to help develop the brand throughout the country. The brand is seeking to partner with hands-on entrepreneurs who are passionate about the brand and motivated to grow.
