All Things MOMMIE's 3rd Annual MomsGiving
All Things MOMMIE, a diverse nonprofit organization created to cultivate a space for mothers and mother figures to access community and support, has announced the return of Momsgiving. This year marks the third annual event, offering birth moms, adoptive moms, stepmoms, and mother figures a space to celebrate their journeys alongside a community of other women.
“All too often, moms and mother figures are prioritizing their children, families, careers, and community service before themselves,” said Erien Dickens, founder and CEO, All Things MOMMIE. “Momsgiving is an important moment for women to pause, celebrate their daily efforts, take a moment to refill their cups, and surround themselves with other women who understand their daily demands firsthand.”
As a married mother of four, a dedicated full-time employee, and the co-owner of two local culinary favorites—Chef Paul's Kitchen and Chef Paul's Foodtruck—Erien embodies the essence of a modern-day superwoman, which is what inspired the creation of All Things MOMMIE and the marque event, Momsgiving.
“My journey began with a profound firsthand experience of the struggles and isolation that many mothers, particularly those from diverse backgrounds, experience while navigating the challenging path of motherhood,” Dickens said. “Instead of dreaming about a place where I could find community with other women, I set out to create it.”
This year, Momsgiving will be held on November 12. Doors open at 3 p.m., and the event takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. at VisionLoft in Indianapolis. Guests will enjoy an array of networking opportunities and a panel discussion addressing topics that resonate with mothers from all walks of life. Tickets include dinner, catered by Chef Paul's Kitchen.
