Visit Glencairn Museum in person to view "Sacred Adornment: Jewelry as Belief in Ancient Egypt," an exhibition which encourages visitors to discover why jewelry was such an important part of daily life for ancient Egyptians. The beautiful necklaces, bracelets, and rings on display reveal the complex ideas that guided the artists, as well as the hopes and beliefs of those who wore this jewelry in ancient times.

Private access to the Museum’s exhibition and first floor includes audio information about the exhibition, first floor permanent collections, and grounds through a free web-app on your smartphone.

A mask properly covering both mouth and nose is required upon entering the building, and must be properly worn at all times while inside the Museum for all visitors age 2+. If a medical condition prevents you from wearing a mask, please contact the Museum to arrange for alternative access times. Please visit https://glencairnmuseum.org/new-visiting-guidelines for current safety protocols.
