Mummenshanz will perform “3x11,” a retrospective of the company’s greatest and most iconic works. Inanimate objects come to life, each with a personality and eccentricity of humans. In turn, humanoid characters take on the appearance of inanimate objects. The resulting role reversals create the most marvelous theatrical experiences with hilarious and ingenious outcomes. They turn everyday objects and materials into abstract forms, simple costumes and expressive masks, and engage the audience with a wordless dialogue.
