Laughing Jack at the Indy Folk Series
Returning favorites to the Indy Folk Series, Laughing Jack brings Irish and Scottish traditions to life with driving Celtic tunes, rousing American roots music, sea shanties, and pub song singalongs that fill a room with energy. The lineup features Garry Farren leading the band with vocals and bodhrán; Liz Bohall on fiddle; Dmitri Alano on Irish flute, whistles, Highland bagpipes, and accordion; and Mario Joven on guitar, mandolin, and tenor banjo. Their charismatic stage presence makes every performance feel like a celebration — vibrant, engaging, and impossible to resist.

INDY FOLK SERIES is an all-ages listening room venue featuring superb acoustics, art on the walls, and a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Light snacks and drinks are available. Concerts are held once a month, September – May, in the performance space at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis.
Doors to the lobby open to the public at 6:15 p.m. Concert begins at 7:00pm
