Amy Rigby with Cara Jean Wahlers
Amy Rigby has been a highly regarded solo artist since 1996, when her first LP earned her “Songwriter of the Year” laurels from SPIN. Her new release, Hang in There with Me, “radiates everything great about Rigby’s trademark Phil Ochs-y folk punk” (according to Andrew Mueller of Uncut magazine). Like Rigby, opening act Cara Jean Wahlers (of local heroes Moonflower Trio) will perform solo at this intimate Sunday evening performance.
Dear Mom, a cozy retail and event space at 2121 E. 10th Street in Indianapolis, will open its doors at 6:30 PM. A $10 to $20 donation is requested, and free street parking can be found nearby.
