Many agree that parents significantly influence their children's behavior regardless of education level, financial status, or religious beliefs. Children are like sponges—they model everything their parents say and do, incorporating these behaviors into their lives at childcare, on the playground, and in school. Therefore, parents must set proper examples for their children. Negative examples can harm a child's development and lead to destructive behavior.
On Saturday, October 12, 2024 (10:15 to 11:30 AM), The Etiquette and Leadership Institute of Indiana will host its Little Ambassadors Etiquette Seminar for ages 5 to 7. This seminar is designed to plant the seed for learning Manners, Rules of Etiquette, and respect for others.
ELII believes young children in this age group (5 -7 yrs.) can comprehend and understand basic manners and rules of etiquette. When parents invest in their child(ren), it gives them the confidence to address challenges they can only experience at their age. They will interact with others while learning topics like:
How to introduce themselves and make new friends
How do you use their power words: Please, Thank you, You are welcome, I'm sorry, etc?
How to set the table for a three and four-course meal
How to use silverware while using real China and Glasses
Tips for helping Mom and Dad around the house
Tips on sitting still for 5 minutes at a time
What is an Act of Kindness?
For information, don't hesitate to contact ELII at Phone: 888-354-4639 or email [email protected]. Please take the opportunity to sign your child up for the LA Seminar by registering them at https://forms.gle/msBjgtULB98DobBU6.
