Juneteenth Recital
As part of a celebration for Juneteenth, All Souls will welcome Amanda Thomas for a recital on June 19 at 7pm. Amanda Thomas is a Chicagoland musician, renowned for her clear and resonant tone, is an exceptionally versatile singer. Raised in the Black church, she began singing gospel from childhood, and later expanded her repertoire by studying jazz and later the bel canto style of singing in college. Effortlessly transitioning between genres, Amanda has led workshops and performed at large General Assemblies as a soloist, choir member, worship leader, and choir director for hundreds of singers.
