Shamrock Run & Walk
One of the oldest and longest-running races in Indianapolis returns this year with a brand-new route! The 31st Annual 4-mile Shamrock Run & Walk, hosted by the Indianapolis Athletic Club Foundation, Indianapolis Fire Department Emerald Society and the Bottleworks District is a unique event that takes runners through historic neighborhoods. The race, set for Saturday, March 16, starts at the Indianapolis Fire Department Union Hall Local 416 and ends at the Bottleworks District.
Participants, family members and friends are invited to a free post-race party at the IFD Memorial from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be live music, a beer garden hosted by the Bottleworks Hotel and plenty of food options inside The Garage. There will be age group awards and every participant will receive a cool 317 Adidas performance shirt. You can sign up at IndyStPats.com. All proceeds are granted to youth athletic programs in need.
