The Visual Art Society of Bryan-College Station is holding an on-line art auction from now to October 19 at 9pm. We were the fortunate recipient of a large art collection from local architect, Mr. William Scarmardo. This collection includes beautifully framed hand painted oil reproductions on canvas of masterpieces by Renoir, Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh and others, as well as three large bronze statues. These pieces would be tasteful and affordable additions to any dorm, home or business. Our goal is to sell these in a on-line auction to help fund our activities, including the Aggieland Art Trail and art scholarships for Bryan and College Station high school students who are planning a course of study and career related to the visual arts.
Many of our members donated original art for this auction as well, including a vintage carousel horse. The bidding ends at 9pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 9pm.
When the auction ends, the winners will be notified and their credit cards will be charged. All pieces can be picked up by the winners on October 20th or later at Brazos Watercolor Retreats, 13161 Hopes Creek Meadow Circle (HCM Circle), College Station, TX 77845.
