Houston Art Weeks Pop-Up Exhibit & Sale

Houston Art Weeks celebrates Houston's vibrant visual arts scene and talented local artists, while raising funds for Houstonians experiencing mental health issues who may not have access to treatment or care. Hosted by local nonprofit the StellaNova Foundation, the inaugural Houston Art Weeks takes place October 10-19. On Saturday, October 18, Houston Art Weeks’ Pop-Up Exhibit & Sale will take place at the Montrose Center. The primary goal of Houston Art Weeks is to stimulate awareness and patronage of Houston-based artists. “The depth, breadth, and growth of Houston’s art community is one of our city’s most notable cultural achievements. The purpose of Houston Art Weeks is to connect these artisans, along with the galleries and studios who serve them, with a new group of art enthusiasts and collectors,” according to the StellaNova Foundation. Participating artists and galleries will donate a percentage of their sales during H.A.W. to the Foundation, which has designated the Montrose Center as the primary beneficiary. The Foundation will spotlight the artists and their work, and a full roster can be seen online at HoustonArtWeeks.org.
