Salad and Go, a one-of-a-kind drive-thru concept on a mission to make fresh, nutritious food convenient and affordable for ALL, wants to let all of Houston know there’s a better option. On December 8, Salad and Go will invite Houstonians to exchange a receipt from any meal bought elsewhere at one of its area drive-thrus for a free, fresh salad with protein and a drink.* Whether from a greasy fast food joint or a sugar-laden afternoon Frappuccino, Salad and Go is accepting any receipt to demonstrate how easy choosing fresh and healthy can be. Salad and Go offers a healthy alternative to traditional fast food, with a farm-to-fork model that delivers made-to-order options at under $7 for a salad with protein – an unprecedented price especially as food inflation continues to pressure consumers. In addition to its signature salads, the brand’s menu, curated by Michelin-star trained chef Daniel Patino, includes wraps and breakfast items as well as hand-crafted lemonades, teas, and hot and cold brew coffee. “Some may say it’s impossible, but Salad and Go is proving that you truly can purchase a delicious, nutritious meal at an affordable price with the convenience of a drive-thru,” says Charlie Morrison, CEO of Salad and Go. “At this busy time of year, it’s especially easy to fall into the trap of eating things that weigh us down and don’t give us the energy we need, but we think Houstonians deserve better.
