What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
groove music school was founded by professional musicians to provide the highest level of musical instruction in the Sugar Land area. Our teachers are industry veterans with years of experience as performers and teachers. [We provide] a band program for students to experience playing in an group setting.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
First-time students do not need to bring anything with the exception of woodwind and brass instruments (where they should bring their own). Of course you’re welcome to bring your instrument if you have one already. If you need one, we’ll assist in the purchase or rental.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We believe in the importance of musical instruction in the formative years. We also like to share with our students the joys and successes music has brought into our lives, and hopefully will bring to theirs. We’ve therefore created an environment where we can share our experience and knowledge.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing how our students, over time and through hard work, advance in their instruments and in their musicianship is a very rewarding part of our job. Seeing the smile of a student as they leave or come into their lesson is our goal.
