Slack Key Master Makana to Play Intimate Waikīkī Benefit Concert – March 28
Acclaimed Hawaiian slack key guitarist Makana returns for a rare Oʻahu performance with two intimate concerts at Waikīkī Community Center on Saturday, March 28.
With limited seating and just two shows, this is a unique opportunity to experience one of Hawaiʻi’s most dynamic slack key artists up close in a small, community-centered venue.
Known for his powerful technique and storytelling through music, Makana blends traditional Hawaiian slack key with a contemporary edge, creating a live performance that is both moving and unforgettable.
