Paniolo, A Hawaiian Cowboy Lū'au
Turtle Bay Resort's weekly entertainment dinner is named "Best Dinner and a Show" by Modern Luxury Hawaii. Set against a backdrop of Turtle Bay's The Stables and the ocean, these dinner shows celebrate Hawaii's rich ranching and cowboy heritage. Paniolo [ pah-nee-oh-loh ] A person who herds cattle; cowboy. The meaning of Paniolo is steeped in a rich cultural tradition of Hawaiian ranching. Our weekly Paniolo dinners will pay homage to the Hawaiian cowboy heritage with roasted pig, delicious eats including vegetarian options, a welcome cocktail, live entertainment, and a cash bar made from vintage horse trailers. Plus, fun activities for the keiki, including a pony meet and greet and hula lessons. At Turtle Bay, the highlight of any visit is to experience a Hawaiian Paniolo Dinner. Families of all ages can also learn how to throw a lasso rope, weave coconut fronds, and make a lei wristlet.
