Spooktacular Pet Costume Contest & Pet Adoption benefiting Oahu SPCA

Raising Cane’s namesake and mascot Raising Cane, a yellow Labrador, is asking all of his furry friends and neighbors to encourage their owners to bring them down to the Town Center of Mililani for a howling good time on Sunday, October 27th at 2 p.m. for Oahu’s biggest Spooktacular Pet Costume Contest. HI93 and 94.7 KUMU radio personality, and Mililani resident, Shannon Scott will MC the event as Oahu’s cutest and spookiest pets strut across the stage. All types of pets are welcome, as long as they are in costume, friendly, and ready for some ONE LOVE Cane’s Trick or Treating. All contestants should register on Eventbrite prior to the contest. Registration is free. A $5 donation to Oahu SPCA is highly encouraged and can be donated at the event. A panel of ONE LOVE jurors will judge pets on three criteria: (1) Personality – How well each pet does in costume; (2) Creativity – How unique is the costume; and (3) Performance – Did the pet do something extra special to sell it? Prizes include: • 1ST Place ​$75 PetSmart Gift Card & Raising Cane’s Swag Bag • 2ND Place ​$50 PetSmart Gift Card & Raising Cane’s Swag Bag • 3rd Place ​$25 PetSmart Gift Card & Raising Cane’s Swag Bag A FAN FAVORITE AWARD will allow audience members topurchase a voting ticket for $1 (a minimum of 5 tickets can be purchased per person) to give to their favorite costumed pet. The pet with the most tickets at the end of the contest will receive a $25 PetSmart Gift Card and bragging rights. 100% of ticketsales will benefit the Oahu SPCA. Raising Cane’s in Town Center of Mililani will also donate15% of sales from 1 to 4 p.m. on the day of the costume contest to the Oahu SPCA.
