Jason Movrich & Lilia Ramil
Renowned for his dynamic fusion of soul, rhythm & blues, rock, reggae and jazz, Jason Movrich, shares his powerful, blues-infused vocal style and expressive guitar work. As the leader of the California-based band Big Blu Soul Revue, Jason has become a prominent figure on the West Coast music scene, delivering high-energy performances that blend classic soul and funk with modern grooves. He also leads Jason Movrich & Friends, an eclectic ensemble that brings together a rotating cast of musicians on stages throughout the US to explore a wide range of genres. Jason is a frequent visitor to Oahu and has performed on island at venues such as Duke’s Waikiki, Maui Brewing Co., Tiki’s, Merriman’s, Hilton Hawaiian Village and many more.
Jason Movrich teams with long-time collaborator, Lilia Ramil, who was raised on the Windward side of Kailua. She brings her soft and soulful vocal stylings to the stage with strong influences from her favorite artists—Norah Jones, Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow. With experience performing on island as well as internationally in China, Italy and Spain.
