Refuse REFUSE - SciArt Exhibit
Opening Night - Friday November 1, 2024 from 5:00-8:00pm for the annual Hawaiʻi Sea Grant sci-art exhibit “Refuse REFUSE” The ARTS at Mark’s Garage (1159 Nuʻuanu Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96817) in the historic arts district of Honolulu.
This event is free and open to the public!
In partnership with the Hawaiʻi Pacific University Center for Marine Debris Research (HPU CMDR) and the Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project (PMDP), we are collaborating with Jocelyn Ng, multidimensional creative, as our featured community engaged, have selected artwork from 14 local professional artists, and have identified winners from the Youth Art Competition tackling plastic pollution and marine debris. Please see below for more information of the featured artist in our free month-long exhibit (November 1-23, 2024).
