Artist Appearance at Park West Gallery Waikiki

The Park West Fine Art Museum & Gallery will welcome artist Kat Tatz to Waikiki on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25. A true original, Tatz is a self-made artist from Las Vegas who has attracted worldwide attention for her whimsical, surrealistic creations. Today, her artwork appears at many Vegas institutions and, in 2021, she was the first-ever winner of Park West Gallery’s inaugural “Made in Vegas” artist competition. From 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 24, Kat Tatz will appear at Park West Hawaii where she will meet fans, paint LIVE, and show off her incredible artwork—this event is open to the public. On Saturday, February 25, Park West Hawaii will host a private cocktail party for Tatz starting at 7 p.m. At the Saturday event, the gallery will unveil a special exhibition of Tatz’s original paintings with exclusive pricing for the event. There will be drinks, appetizers, and prizes available to those who attend. Her artwork has been seen on HGTV’s DIY to the Rescue and appears inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, Tivoli Village, Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas’ Centennial Hospital, Park West Gallery inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and at Art Space & Design in Canada. Her creations are also featured inside Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, where every stadium artist was hand-picked by famed artist Michael Godard. Coming from a family of artists, Tatz developed a love of art at a young age, giving her a lifetime to experiment with different mediums and perfect her signature style and techniques. Her range of expertise includes a variety of artistic mediums including oils, acrylics, color pencils, and sculpture. Now married and a mother to two sons, Tatz works from her studio or on site, bringing over 25 years of experience to every work she creates. “Kat is an exceptional artist; we look forward to having her visit our gallery in Waikiki and putting on a vibrant show for our guests with her live painting performance,” says Park West Hawaii Director Arturo Torrez.
