“Pau-HA-Hana: Unfiltered & Unscripted” throws real-life stories into the improv blender for a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience you won't see anywhere else.
Every third Friday, a special guest storyteller spills the tea, inspiring completely original, never-before-seen scenes. This isn't your average improv – it's raw, real, and guaranteed to leave you in stitches.
About our storyteller:
R. Kevin Garcia Doyle has been an active educator and artist in the Hawaiʻi theater scene for three decades. He is a co-founder of the Hawaiʻi Shakespeare Festival. He is a founding member of Hawaiʻi’s first improv group “LOOSE SCREWS”. Their improvised “SCREWBUKI” was the first improvised show from Hawaiʻi invited to the Chicago Improv Festival. With “ON THE SPOT” he toured internationally in their silent movie improv show “HUSH”. R. Kevin currently performs with ImprovHI and is the front man for the Na Hokuhoku nominated improvised rock band OIL IN THE ALLEY. He is a recipient of the HSTC Pierre Bowman Award for Outstanding Contribution to Hawaiʻi Theater.
