Build Your Budget & Elder Fraud Workshop
Attend a free interactive workshop about building your budget and Elder Fraud. The event will be held in the Meeting Room. Registration is recommended. Seating is limited. Register by October 10th. Call or visit the library.
Build Your Budget: You’ll learn what is a budget and isn’t, then be guided through the process of creating a plan for allocating your funds effectively. You’ll also get useful tips for putting your new budget into action successfully.
Elder Fraud: Unfortunately, there are many clever individuals who will go to great lengths to exploit honest people’s personal information and hard-earned money. This discussion will offer tips on what to watch for, how to safeguard yourself, and the steps to take if you find yourself a victim.
This 90-minute community engagement program is sponsored by Hawaii State Federal Credit Union as part of HSFCU Cares Day.
