FREE O Nā Lani Sunset Stories Hula Show | Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
As the days lengthen during spring and summer, International Market Place is moving the start time 30 minutes later for its popular torch lighting, hula show and Polynesian revue, ‘O Nā Lani Sunset Stories. The time change is effective March 1, when the show moves to a 6:30 p.m. start time.
‘O Nā Lani Sunset Stories captivates audiences at International Market Place three nights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) honoring the center’s rich history and sense of place through Hawaiian and Polynesian song and dance.
Free and open to the public, the 45-minute event begins at sunset with the ceremonial lighting of the Lamakū Torch Tower on Kalākaua Avenue and leads to the stage at Queen’s Court. From March through August the show will begin at 6:30 p.m.
